How to use this NRI SIP calculator

This calculator estimates how an existing investment corpus and regular Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) could grow over time. It is useful for Indians abroad planning long-term goals in India, such as retirement, education, or building a long-term investment corpus.

What to enter

  • Initial portfolio value: the current value of the Indian investments included in this projection.
  • Monthly SIP: the amount you plan to invest each month in your selected currency.
  • Annual return: an assumed average, not a guaranteed mutual fund return.
  • Annual SIP increase: an optional step-up to model increasing contributions as your income grows.

How to read the result

“Total invested” includes the starting portfolio and all projected contributions. “Total return” is the projected portfolio value above that invested amount. For simplicity, each year’s SIP contributions are grouped together and the assumed return is applied annually, so actual fund performance and transaction timing will produce different results.

What NRIs should keep in mind

Enter monetary amounts in the currency you select. Non-INR amounts are converted to INR for the projection and converted back for display using the exchange rate you enter. This does not model future exchange-rate movements. The estimate also excludes inflation, fund charges, tax, and NRI investment or repatriation rules.
